image courtesy of the Daily Emerald Faculty at UO rallied yesterday to send a clear message to the UO Administration and their negotiators:  We, the university community stand behind our faculty bargaining team and their proposals. The United Academics negotiating team consists of nine faculty from departments across campus, and have been in negotiations since November 2012 for a first contract that prioritizes high quality research and instruction, a strong faculty voice in campus decision-making, and professional respect for all faculty.
