April Update: Graduate Employees Union of Portland State University

by Emily Leickly, GEU Member Spring is off to an exciting start for the Graduate Employees Union at Portland State University. Ratification of GEU’s first contract was completed with a signature from PSU President Rahmat Shoureshi on March 28. GEU is now preparing to elect its first Executive Board. Nominations for GEU officer positions (President, Chief Steward, Grievance Officer, Treasurer, and VPs of Bargaining, Communications, Equity & Inclusion, Social Engagement, Operations, and Politics) opened at the start of spring quarter on April 3rd.
