The Nominations Committee of AAUP-Oregon seeks nominations for the following positions of the Executive Committee: Vice President for Political Action Vice President for Membership and Organizing Vice President for Communications and Public Relations Treasurer Advocate for Contingent Faculty Advocate for Graduate Students Positions descriptions for each position may be found here. The term of office is two years, beginning on April 21, 2018. Elections for the position will be conducted online in advance of the April 21st AAUP-Oregon Annual Meeting. Save the Date: AAUP-Oregon Annual Meeting

AAUP-Oregon’s Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 21st at the Hilyard Community Center in Eugene, Oregon from 10am-4pm. The Annual Meeting will feature sessions on the higher education legislative landscape, increasing equity within our unions and advocacy chapters, bargaining a first contract, and messaging to help build membership. We’ll also bring together leaders from across the state to share best practices within their unions and chapters. We hope that you’ll join us for community building and skill sharing with faculty, academic professionals, and graduate employees across the state!
