A 1% increase in salaries and 33% coverage of fees were certainly a step in the right direction, but when it came to healthcare, they didn't even want to budge. Fall Term brought more opportunities to connect with our colleagues as we build our faculty union. Those connections took many forms: one-on-one conversations, small group gatherings, events allowing us to connect with colleagues all across the state, and the distribution of our Faculty Voices quote book wherein we articulate some of our reasons for organizing our union. Each of these conversations has sharpened our collective vision and deepened our commitment to this work. As we head into 2018, we are filled with excitement and resolve.
