Fall Term brought more opportunities to connect with our colleagues as we build our faculty union. Those connections took many forms: one-on-one conversations, small group gatherings, events allowing us to connect with colleagues all across the state, and the distribution of our Faculty Voices quote book wherein we articulate some of our reasons for organizing our union. Each of these conversations has sharpened our collective vision and deepened our commitment to this work. As we head into 2018, we are filled with excitement and resolve.

First, let’s pass Measure 101 in 2018.  We have an important special election in Oregon coming this January for ballot Measure 101. Read more about it here, and be sure to get your ballot in by January 23. Please vote yes for healthcare for 350,000 Oregonians, most of whom are children.
